|
|
I have been teaching English and Spanish in Bangkok for a year, and I want to relocate to a big city in Chile. I am a 26 year old American with a masters degree in Spanish, a TEFL, and some money saved up. I was planning on moving in early April 2014. I was wondering
1. What is the competition for TEFL jobs like in Santiago or other big cities these days?
2. Do I need a visa before arriving in Chile?
3. Is it a bad idea to just move out there and look for a job? This is what I did in Thailand and it worked out well.
4. Do schools hire full time English teachers, or am I more likely to work for a company that will send me all over town to teach classes on an hourly basis?
thanks for any help or advice you can offer. |
