In their eternal wisdom the Taiwanese military is working on airdropping humvees. They can't even keep them running and now they want to drop them out of old C-130's? Where in Taiwan can you safely airdrop a humvee? It's not like there are a lot of flat places and humvees are not the most offensive of weapons.

This rates right up their with having their pitifully small marine force make an amphibious counter assault on the mainland if Taiwan is attacked.
This confirms my theory that there is nothing more dangerous to a Chinese military force than itself. Reminds me of how the Nationalists sold the ammo for the troops defending Shanghai to the Japanese in WW2. I could go on, but that would only bring out the apologists.
