| Hello all. I have approximately 75 kilograms of belongings currently in the U.A.E. and would like to have them shipped to Kuwait. What is the most cost-effective way to go about doing this? Are they strict as far as inspecting incoming shipments? Don't laugh, but I am a little concerned about how they would react to a packet of pictures labeled "Palestine and Israel" with pics of the former or latter (whichever word you prefer) including one of the latter's flag and a few of Hasidic Jews. I also have some video tapes of past sports' highlights. If the video tapes are confiscated, how long will it be before I get them back? What would be their reaction to the photos, which would be alongside other packs of photos from Mexico, Costa Rica, Oman, Jordan, the U.A.E., Tanzania, Egypt, China, and South Korea? I didn't mean to drag away from the most important question concerning the best way to have the goods shipped. Thanks for your feedback. PM's are welcomed. |

| Air cargo is the easiest. There are plenty of companies that will do it all for you. You then go to the airport to pick the stuff up, and clear it through Customs. Normally no real hassle. |

| What are the odds of them going through my belongings and confiscating my pics and videotapes or other repercussions. Any price estimates of what I would have to pay Kuwait would also be beneficial. Thank you. |

The cheapest way is by sea... the easiest is by air...
I'm not sure what you are expecting to pay for? There shouldn't be duties. I paid a small extra amount when shipping from the US and the shippers cleared it for me in Kuwait... and I don't believe anything was even opened.
Luck of the draw... worst case: if they take the videos, you should get them back, unless there is porn. But, they haven't seemed to be as obsessed by this as they used to be. I would remove the word Israel from things... just in case.
