Am toying with the idea of having my legal status changed to "independent" am in the suburbs and there is an international company on my doorsteps offering plenty of hours, but only if I have one of those offical numbers you get when you are independent. Have done lots of research but am a bit scared to go that route, heard horrors stories about the French red tape... |

They're all true!
Go for it but don't quit the job you have now until you have your number that way you will still be earning for the 3 years it takes to get it sorted
How do you spell mindless bureaucracy? F-R-A-N-C-E

so it means I can work under two different legal status? One as independent and the other as an employee?
Cause in fact I would like to keep my present job, in this business I've learnt not to let go of something if you 1/2 satisfied.., but kinda am rather tempted to get my foot into this other company... |
