I was browsing the job boards, and pretty much all of the uni jobs had a number between 50-59 days off per year. Is that fairly typical for universities in the Middle East?

Is sometimes more than that, or less than that? Or is that pretty much standard? Does it vary based on the country in the Middle East?

It ranges from 1 month (the small private cheapskates) to 6 weeks (if summer school is required) to 2 months (most common) to... however many days it is from turning in your grades and getting summer pay until a couple days before classes start first semester... ie 3+ months.

All of these are give or take a few days... basically you need to look at each offer.
