I need to stay in Kuwait for 7 nights. Any info on the cheapest hotel? Costs? Description? What sort of people frequent it? Thanks. |

One problem with getting a response is that this is an English teaching board which concerns itself with job related issues. We are not a travel board. The second problem is that even for those of us who travel, few would bother to visit Kuwait as there is little or no reason to go there unless you have a job - in which case you are provided with housing. I lived in Kuwait and I don't even know if there 'are' cheap hotels.

Look in the "Lonely Planet" or the "Rough Guide". What is taking you to Kuwait ? They do not get many tourists. |

Am meeting people about teaching jobs. Rough Guide and Lonely Planet are not up to date. Any ideas about hotels? |

I googled 'Hotels in Kuwait' and there over 5 million links
Here's one that jumped out(it said discount- cheap Scots home in on words like that)
It seems cheaper to book on line. |

The cheapest hotel listed on there was $100 a night. No self-respecting Scotsman would pay that much money to sleep!! (and it was a lowly 3 star...)
