Unusual for me, normally such a vesuvias of Germany know-how, to ask a question, but I am.
I live in the UK now, but am to be posted back to Germany in 2006. I am after some weekend German courses at pre-int/int level. They can be anywhere in Germany, can travel, but only weekends if you will. If anyone knows details, it would be very nice.

Try the Volkshochschule in your local community. It's inexpensive, and you can make good contacts. |

If you want one in the UK, there's usually a Goethe Institut in most countries. And they might be able to help you finding somewhere else, if that's too far away for you. |

I do not understand this. Where are you looking for the teacher ? In the UK or Germany ? Please do enlighten me. I am not sure why.
My advice is get a teacher for one to one instruction. |

Oh, I've long since given up interest and am learning French twice a week, three times a month. My teacher is from Spain, but it's ok because I can catch a bus.

But...

Then...
I go and spend three days looking for a VHS in my local community in England. I fail, but do come home with some nice four-hour blank video tapes.
So..
I am looking for German lessons at the weekend in Germany. I do not live in Germany. I need to get in an aeroplane. Anywhere in Germany is OK. Pre-int/Intermediate level.
