Hello all!
I wanted to know, since most of you mentioned that it would be better to take my computer with me, is it easy to purchase a 220 volt convertor for my 110 computer unit from Oman or should I purchase one from here?
Thanks for your input! |

You are probably not aware that laptops are dual voltage... Look at the black box on the power cord and it should say from 110-220 or some such range (too lazy to get down on the floor to read mine). And it switches automatically. You will probably need an adaptor for the plug itself... they use British style 3 prongs and they are easily available there.
They make things easy for us non-technical sorts.

Thanks VS! I can always count on you!
As I read your posting, I did remember that my old Compaq had a switch 110- to 220. Thanks for pointing this out!
And you are right, I'm just lazy to check at this point, but I'm going to have to!
Thanks again! |
