Hi Guys,
Appears that word on the street recommends avoiding Germany as a TEFL teacher..great ! I'm going to be moving to Germany in the region of Kln/Dsseldorf in April 2006! By then, I should have around 2 years' teaching experience (with a little business exp.). The best foot in the door for me (as far as I'm aware) still remains TEFL.
I'm seriously considering the business English route and would like any great advice on offer. Especially if anyone has any idea about Linguarama (ie Yes/No; wages; conditions; progression etc.) as at the moment they appear to be my best option.
Truth be told, I would like to move out of TEFL in the future and might be interested 'going somewhere' within a company. Would Linguarama be a good step in this case? Or is there any other advice?
I don't just want to be a 'taker' of information, so if you need any advice about Brighton, England, for example, please don't hesitate to ask!
Many thanks!
