Have been looking into jobs in Qatar, but before I go applying and potentially wasting loads of time, is it possible for a woman to sponsor her husband to come to Qatar? I ask because I had applied for a job in Kuwait last year and they told me that I wouldn't be able to sponsor my husband to come there. THey said they could work something out, but in the end, it wasn't worth the trouble.

The other thing is, how to people from Qatar view Asians? My husband is Asian, and while he doesn't seem to worry about being discriminated against, I would hate for him to have a negative experience based on his nationality or colour of his skin. He speaks English well and is thick skinned, but I'm looking for a realistic view of what life would be like for him, or us as a mixed couple.

Thanks guys.
