Post Grad study in West any ideas?
Im trying to give advice to my students thinking of studying in Western (English-speaking countries).
Any thoughts, experiences that can help? Best countries, institutions, courses i.e. a masters level qualification or a lesser post grad diploma?
In particular interested in views of cost benefit - especially enhanced job prospects on return. |

It's always exciting to see that someone has posted on the India forum.
However, I am confused by your question. Did you realize that you posted on the India forum and you are wondering about job prospects in Western India? |

Yes and no. I used the same text on a couple of other fora for countries (like India) which send a lot of people away to further their education.
So Western and English speaking should perhaps have been joined by 'and/or'. |

Hi there,
I was working in India last year, and I recently took a job teaching at the Canadian Education Center Network's Culture and Language Center in Korea. The CECN is a not-for-profit organization that helps students looking to study in Canada to find a school that's right, determine qualifications, visa requirements, etc. You could maybe refer them to the website and the CECN in India. It's located in Delhi, but I think it does tours around the country. The main site is www.cecnetwork.ca and you can click in to get the the India site (sorry I'm too lazy to do it).
Hope this helps. |

I was buzzing around the British Council website for Korea and saw that they also have informational services regarding studying in the UK. I'm sure that other BC's have the same thing. It's probably worth checking out. |
