Japan is the most convenient place for convenience stores Wink and most of us use them everyday. Sandwiches, udon, oden, even hamburgers. But which one do you like the best? My favourite is Family Mart because they have English newspapers, oden, and beer Very Happy

Which one do you think is the best?

I voted Family Mart. They have the best fried chicken. Their onigiri is also very good, although Lawson's' (what's the possessive form of Lawson's anyway?) onigiri beats Family Mart's just barely.

It sucks that the only conbini in my neighborhood is a Daily Yamazaki, which is a middle of the road conbini. Nothing special about it, although it could be much worse. It could be a Mini Stop. Confused

How many MOS Burger are there around Japan?

I became a huge fan while in Singapore last year, I am craving for some when I get to Japan.

Easy to find?

Sorry, it doesn't count because it is a hamburger shop not a combini.

The Japanese 7-11 is actually quite good. Completely edible bentos, friendly staff and decent selection. Unfortunately, I'm Canadian. When I think 7-11, I think scum-covered mop bucket with cobweb. I think 9 day old revolving hotdog with a texture like a 65 year old woman at tanning salon. I think polyunsaturated fats and 230 ounce sodas. So, 7-11 is out of the running.

I vote Sunkus. Their bentos are decent but their sandwiches and assorted "mans" (nikuman, pizzaman and so forth) are just stellar. The staff is remarkably hygenic and possess basic social skills.

Lawson is ok too.

I voted for Lawson's because the karaage-kun (red) are addictive, but yeah Family Mart's fried chicken is pretty damn awesome, too. Unfortunately there's not one near where I live now, so I gotta go with Lawson, as there are two between my apartment and the station, which is only a ten-minute walk away.

family marto has the best deserts.
daily yamazaki are very random. when i lived in arashiyama, my local daily yamazaki had fresh fruit and veges from local farmers and an extensive stock of imported wines. i could by moet from my combini.
however, most daily yamazaki's are sh.ite.
which combini has the yakiniku rice burgers? i think it's am/pm.

off topic, but yes, mos burger's are scattered around relatively liberally.

I don't think Shop 99 counts as a conbini.
