|
|
I posted the below question in the newbie forum, but received no answers, so I thought I'd try it in the Africa forum.
Ok ... I have a B.A. in English, was Editor in Chief of my college newspaper, and I studied at the Sorbonne for a semester, so my French is quite good. What are my chances of finding a job in Morocco?
I'm taking a TEFL course in Bordeaux this August. I've emailed all the ALC schools with only one response. So here's my question ... with my qualifications, would it be a good idea to simply go on down to Morocco and knock on doors?
I'll be in Paris for a week or so after the TEFL course. Is that good place to job hunt for Morocco? |

Did you contact Proformation (who've been advertising on this site) and Amdieast in Rabat? If not, maybe you should.
You have the qualifications to legally teach English in Morocco, but I really don't think it's a good idea for you to just come here and knock on doors.
There are a few reputable language schools in Morocco (the ALCs, Amideast, probably EF in Casa, the British Council) and a lot of places that are not so reputable with which teachers have had a lot of grief. |
