Hi,
I'm looking to do a Tesol or Celta course at some point as the starting point for my career in Tefl. As I live in Scotland it would probably be more sensible to do my training here.
I know that Basil Paterson in Edinburgh has an excellent reputation but my I've also uncovered The Randolph School of English. Does anyone know if their course is any good??
Also, does anyone know of any other training centres in Scotland?? My google search has has limited results.
Thanks. |

Hiya,
I know nothing about their CELTA course.
Why not phone them up and see if they can convince you that they can offer you more than Basil Patterson could. Ask what their pass rate at A, B and C level is, find out what their last observation yielded.
You might get the info and you might get an interview and, then again, you might not but you can always go elsewhere, what have you got to lose? |
