Hello,
Has anyone here done the Masters of Teaching in Australia? I am thinking of doing this program after my stint as a teacher in Korea.
Is it a recognized masters degree as well as a recognized education degree?
What kind of problems do you think Canadian Provincial teaching associations would give me over this type of degree?
Griffith University in Australia claims that their program is recognized by the Ontario Teacher's College. I called the college and they said they do not recognize this program. However, I was told by the recruiter for this University that this is their blanket statement to every University outside this province and that they MUST say this. She said they would recognize it anyway.
Is there any truth to this? I feel like I am being goofed around with.
Thanks,

I can only tell you that teacher registration is reciprocal between Australia and Canada. I guess that includes qualifications. |
