Hey everyone, I have a question. I have a job in the UK with Bell coming up but right now I have a Visa/work permit problem (originally I thought I didn't need a work permit so I put it down as I didn't but stupid me, you obviously need a work permit pretty much to work anywhere in the world). I think it's too late for the school to sponsor a work permit, as I'm due there in a couple of weeks and the visa fees have been doubled- ever since I was there a year ago. So question is, should I still go ahead and send in a visa application, pay the fees, etc. and go? Or not go. I most likely will end up going, because I hate commiting to something and not doing it. But just wanted to hear some inputs. Oh and I still haven't bought my plane tickets yet (Way to procrastinate. I'm just asking for it, seriously) so that's why I'm having a hard time deciding what to do. Thanks. |

So what will you do if they refuse to employ you, as well they might? Let us all know if you get away with it...or not. |

I'm from the States. It's silly that I have to have a work permit since I'd only be working for 6 weeks. Apparently, there's no such thing as a working visa for the UK. I don't think I will end up going afterall, even though I really want to... |
