Hey everyone, I have a question. I have a job in the UK with Bell coming up but right now I have a Visa/work permit problem (originally I thought I didn't need a work permit so I put it down as I didn't but stupid me, you obviously need a work permit pretty much to work anywhere in the world). I think it's too late for the school to sponsor a work permit, as I'm due there in a couple of weeks and the visa fees have been doubled- ever since I was there a year ago. So question is, should I still go ahead and send in a visa application, pay the fees, etc. and go? Or not go. I most likely will end up going, because I hate commiting to something and not doing it. But just wanted to hear some inputs. Oh and I still haven't bought my plane tickets yet (Way to procrastinate. I'm just asking for it, seriously) so that's why I'm having a hard time deciding what to do. Thanks.

So what will you do if they refuse to employ you, as well they might? Let us all know if you get away with it...or not.

I'm from the States. It's silly that I have to have a work permit since I'd only be working for 6 weeks. Apparently, there's no such thing as a working visa for the UK. I don't think I will end up going afterall, even though I really want to...
