Greetings,
I'm new to this board. Thanks in advance for your advice. I've accepted a position at QU that begins in August. We have a three year old daughter, and I understand that QU has a childcare facility (the Early Years Learning Centre). Has anyone had any experience with children in this program?

Never heard about this facility. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Sometimes you find out about things months after arriving. If you are moving to Al-Zahoor 2, there is a nursery/daycare in the complex, Sunny Smiles. My 2.5 year old goes there and she enjoys it. They'll have an open house/ registration the last week of August. The nursery is small (25 kids). Bigger schools are around, some closer to the school. Many of these will already be full, but kids do drop out. Try www.qatarliving.com for more information and suggestions for daycares/nurseries. Good luck
