Ok , there's been a post about the best good looking women, so what about the men? Where are the best looking men in Latin America?

Naturegirl, shouldn't that be "the richest, best-looking men"?

Wow, we're spicing things up here!

Ok, well, I personally find that Argentine men are the most physically attractive mainly because of their height and European features. However, if I'm looking for the whole package I tend to be more drawn to Chileans... but I suppose I'm biased since I live in Chile.

The one thing that is a really big turn off for me in Latin American men (in GENERAL) is the machismo but that is whole different topic entirely! And since we're basing this just on looks, I guess we'd have to eliminate that factor for the time being.

Anyway, these were only picked from the countries to which I have visited. I have yet to see all of Latin America and if I did, my answers would probably vary slightly.

Well,

I married a Mexican, but he doesn't read this forum, so I'll be honest. I studied Latin American studies and in addition to traveling in Latin America, I've met hundreds of Latin American men in the US (and even in JAPAN!!) and I never would have guessed that I'd end up with a Mexican. I was always particular to Chileans. They seemed to have particularly penetrating eyes. Argentinians are nice looking but they tend to be just a little too slick for me--I won't date a guy who cares more about his wardrobe than I do!

When I was in university I had the biggest crush on one of my teaching assistant's. He was Bolivian. I think I have a thing for high cheekbones. But rather than nationalities, I think its really more about educational backgrounds. I go for education even in Americans, but there is something really special about highly educated Latin American guys...

Also here's a tip--to minimize the "machismo" affect, look for men raised by single mothers.

You missed my point, Naturegirl. I was suggesting that a man's attractiveness to women was somehow related to his wealth.
You're obviously not the cynical, gold-digging type!

Ugh, nope. Rather marry a nice guy than a rich one.

SOme of the hottest men I have seen were at the surfer beaches in Venezuela. They were hot Latinos and totally sculped from their total body surf workout. I am moving to Mexico so I hope I will find more of the same.

While Chilean men can be quite good looking, I have found them to be extremely conceited and dishonest. The men in Peru are average at best. They are not rich, very good looking, or good providers. On top of that they are super possessive and jealous.

I have always preferred Mexican men myself. They seem to place more value on taking care of their woman.

I am going to say that Costa Ricans are my personal preference.
They take the cake because they are tall (okay, not extremely tall), have beautiful skin and I like their style. From my experience, they also seem to be the least possessive...

Well, I have gone from Venezuela to Mexico and let me tell you I appreciate what I had as my mouth was always dropping in Venezuela but so far I have seen any Mexican hotties.
