Hi All
Looking for some advice re finding a teaching job in Rouen starting Jan 2007.
I have CELTA and 2.5 years experience, a lot of it in business English teaching. I finish a contract in Tokyo in December and will arrive in Rouen just after new year.
My searches so far have only yielded 3 language schools in Rouen: Wall Street Institute (not keen on this one after reading some of the threads here), Inlingua and one other.
Is this really all there is in Rouen???????????
Many Thanks |

I taught at Wall Street 'Institute' a few years back. French owned, they couldn't have cared if they were selling English or insurance.
Inlinqua was another 'McDo.'
There is also Berlitz.
Other than that, you can try the local uni for vacataire work. Also, the local chamber of commerce has classes. Beautiful town, Rouen, and it takes time to establish, just like anywhere in France. |
