Which countries have the best environment for foreign teachers in general?
Does anyone who has taught in Asia have a list ranking of which Asian countries are best to teach in? |

Consider Korea for your first teaching job; I've met quite a few teachers who got their start there. Check out the SK forum (http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/index.php). It requires separate registration to participate in the discussions. |

If you're looking at making a long term career out of TEFLing I think it would be more important to find a good school first and worry about the country second.
Unless you've got your heart set on a particular place you'll find that you can enjoy yourself in most Asian countries.
Just my opinion. |

I would take China off of your short list unless your a single guy with no bills to pay back home. You can get laid every night and have a blast, but saving any money is next to impossible. |

Who needs money with those kinda benefits?
But there are good paying jobs in China, with some salaries well above $2,000USD monthly. |
