Hey guys,
What's the ESL job availability and pay rate in Cambodia?
How do you find a job there... just take your CV and go to the schools?
Is this a good time of the year to go there?
Thanks very much! |

minimum six dollars/hr, up to fifteen or more, usually closer to six. take your cv and, starting at 8 am, drop it off at all schools by using a moto dop that is to say a moto taxi to be found at capitol restaurant. start at 8, stop at 11, start agin at 2, stop at five, do this for a day or two, making sure you have a cellphone contact. then take the best offer and build up yr hours from there--good luck |

how about better yet, rent a motorbike at a nearby agency for maybe $4 a day, and do the same? motodop is better? |

Probably a lot more efficient for someone who has just arrived and does not know their way around. Also the driver may know of schools the job hunter does not know about. |

I have a good friend living and working in PP and he's reporting back that there is still good availability of jobs, although most of the ones he's finding seem to be around the $8 to $10 per hour range. |
