Are the electrical outlets the same in Peru as they are in the US? How about the voltage? Thanks. |

Electricity is 220v and 50/60 cycles. Sockets are fitted to accept both flat and round plugs. The metric system is used except for gasoline, which is measured in gallons. Conversions can be found here: www.worldwidemetric.com/metcal.htm |

Since you are in Korea now, Naturegirl, does that mean that you can use Peruvian electronics in Korea and vice-versa? |

I don't have an electronics, except my laptop, voltage is the same, but the plug design is different. SO I haven't had any problems. |

For U.S. appliances youll need to get a voltage adapter. If youre in Lima theyre readily available on the streets for cheap. |

But dont let your suspicious, ignorant landlord see the adapter.
Mine wanted me to hike my monthly electricity bill because of it. |
