During the summer, everyone but the lowest workers get their families as far from the Gulf as possible.
Sometimes it gets below 32-35 degrees overnight... but the weather rather dampens the idea of the traditional 'summer camp.'

There are many run by a lot of the colleges and universities. It is quite nice to stay in the summer because most of the expats have left and you can get into restaurants and other places easily and more cheaply. So it is a little hot and humid - but then so is May, June, September and October. Only the lowest workers go on holiday and come back owing thousands in credit card bills.
Summer camps are never outside - they generally take place in A/C ed places, swimming pools, clubs, cinemas, libraries etc.. It also pays well and gives you extra income in case you need to escape for a week or two. |

No, the opposite occurs. And 'the lowest workers' do not possess credit cards. |
