You would be better to post this question under the more specific category of EUROPE/CZECH REPUBLIC and not here in the General Discussion Forum. Did you check the "Job Information Journal" ?

As the other poster(Scot) says, take a look at the Job Journal under Czech Republic on Dave's Cafe. There are some VERY interesting and relevant comments on Caledonian...some favorable...some really critical. Also, there is a lot of relevant material on Czech in general at the Job Journal site...like how pathetic the pay is ,for example.

I lived and taught in Czech...but not at Caledonian...personally,I would not do it...good luck,be careful. It is a great country, but basically no money there...you are virtually teaching for free(almost). Smile

Yeah, I've been tempted more than once to reply to the need for teachers in Prague or Bratislava given that my maternal grandparents are from the latter, but as previously mentioned, there is no money to be made in these two countries. I'm no gold-digger but I like to live confortably and so I've given up considering working in these two countries. If you've got money saved though I'd sy go ahead cuz I hear they are both beautiful cities!

Good luck!
