As I understand it alcohol is totally prohibited in Kuwait. Does that mean that it's totally unobtainable, risky to obtain, or tolerated in foreigner's homes or houses? I ask this because many things which are prohibited (like drugs, prostitutes, firearms etc) in some places seem to be in fact available on every street corner. I wouldn't call myself a lush, but a longterm stay with no possibility of liquid libations seems scary. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to reply. |

Don't know about Kuwait, but here in KSA - which iof anything, probably enforeces the alcohol ban even more strictly - alcohol is very easy to obtain. Some people do nothing but drink themselves silly every weekend. Most of it is bootlet, made in somebodys' bathroom alcohol, but the 'real' stuff is also available to those with the right contacts and/or cash. |

Yes there is alcohol in Kuwait. There is also heroin and cocaine. It is also possible to indulge in fornication and unnatural practices.
Whether or not you choose to take part in all these illegal activities is a matter of free will. |
