I started a new post, because I do have a legal residence and work permit (consequent to marriage) and don't need to know about how to stay legally - but rather how to earn a living in Brazil.
I've taught in Brazil previously, but never made much money in the northeast, and it has been 20 years since I've worked in the south.
I have an MA in Linguistics/TESOL and am an experienced teacher, and speak Portuguese. I would like to teach private and at the University level if possible. My drawback is my age- I'm almost 62 now.
Is there much hope in working or getting work in Santa Catarina, Parana, or Rio Grande do Sul?
I'm about to finish up a contract in Saudi and need a change, willing to try Brazil again.
Thanks for your help. |
