Hi,

I'm in the market for high-speed internet at a low price. Is such a thing only available in Lima? What are the available options?

Thanks

Try Telefonica. They charge about 120 for a 200 line. I also heard that Telmex, Millicom, and Americatel (ngn.com.pe)

See here for more info

Thanks, Naturegirl!

Unfortunately, I tried Telefonica: their 400 line isnt too bad, but their 1 MB line ( I have that right?) cost big bucks for bad service - out int he boonies, anyways.

Things could be better, even much better in Lima. But that doesn't help me much - sigh.

I like Peru a lot, but this is a major, major bug for me.

WE had a 200, but now have a 100 and it works well, don't have any complaints, but I just use email mainly.
