You're right in that they didn't get convicted in any court of anything.

Just killed by people who weren't friendly.

The poster was commenting on how friendly the Sudanese were and not on Gillian's case in particular.

The poster had a bad experience with some Sudanese. Lots of people have bad experiences with Americans and Brits. Does that mean that all Americans and Brits are bad?

If I meet one loud mouthed arrogant American doesn it mean they are all like that?
