Hi everyone,
I am leaving for Central America in early September, and plan to travel/work for a year. Does anyone know if a mosquito net is necessary to bring when staying in cheap huts/hostels? Thanks for the info! |

Depends where you are. Generally no - don't bother bringing one with you. I don't know anyone who has a net.
Good luck,
Corey

Here in San Jose, bugs are really not a problem. If you come to Costa Rica, be sure to bring warm clothes! In the Valle Central it gets pretty cool at night and when it rains in the afternoon. Layers (sweaters, jackets) are key, as are a good umbrella and raincoat. And really good, comfortable walking shoes. Have fun in your travels! |
