Western prices for luxuries, maybe a little more. Petrol is cheap. Local folk cuisine cooked at home costs nothing (rice and beans).

Kuwait caters for many different life styles. You can live a comfortable life as a single person on between $300 -500 per month. As a married person with a child I live comfortably on $1000.per month. If you are here to save you could live on $150-200 per month. I wouldn't but some do.

In Kuwait, like in neighbouring KSA, you choose your lifestyle and that determines how much it costs. You can live on very littel, but how long will you last ? If you wantt o go after one year, live like a Bnagladeshi. If you plan to stay longer get yourself some treats. Don't be like my colleagues who will not buy a cup of cofee or a newspaper.
