Western prices for luxuries, maybe a little more. Petrol is cheap. Local folk cuisine cooked at home costs nothing (rice and beans). |

Kuwait caters for many different life styles. You can live a comfortable life as a single person on between $300 -500 per month. As a married person with a child I live comfortably on $1000.per month. If you are here to save you could live on $150-200 per month. I wouldn't but some do. |

In Kuwait, like in neighbouring KSA, you choose your lifestyle and that determines how much it costs. You can live on very littel, but how long will you last ? If you wantt o go after one year, live like a Bnagladeshi. If you plan to stay longer get yourself some treats. Don't be like my colleagues who will not buy a cup of cofee or a newspaper. |
