How did India get its own forum?
Interesting, and people are posting on it as well. Didn't expect this. |

Because there are virtually no FTs teaching English in India, at least not in the traditional sense. The only jobs on the go are in the call centre training field. |

jbhomer,
I know!! I'm part of it! But it doesn't mean we don't deserve our own forum, even though we may be very few and far between....
In fact, there is actually quite a large market, but on a voluntary basis only, in the poor areas and shanti towns. So, it's not like Korea or China for sure, but let's rejoice in the fact that there is a forum for us few!

Seems like other places would get their own forum as well - Central Asia (the 'Stans'), Colombia, etc., if INDIA gets one!
Why not The Philippines? They do have jobs there contrary to a few posters here who deny it. |
