Any information on this place? It's 20 contact hours, 48 total hours, per week at the Centro de Idiomas. The salary seems very good for Colombia, and this is a prestigious university, but I would like specifics on working conditions, students, etc.

Thanks

I was last in Colombia in 2012. Colombia is a great country with marvelous people. Pay is OK depending upon where you teach. International schools by and large are the best employers paying 3.5 million to 4 million Colombian pesos. There are 2 International schools who pay more the 4 million pesos one is in Medellin and the other in Bogota. Language schools should be avoided unless you like low pay and problems.. Most language schools are under the table payments and you must leave the country every 90 days not a good situation at all. Sad
