My Japanese spouse and I have been considering Latin America as a place to work. I have 7 years of ESL experience, mostly business English. My wife is Japanese and could work as a teacher or office worker.

I had heard that Brazil had a sizeable Japanese population, does that translate into job opportunities? Is the ESL scene still going strong in Brazil? Which cities would you recommend? Lot's of potential to get private students?

Thanks!
