They have had a job advertisement for a native English speaker for as far back as I can remember. Anyone know about this place? And why are they constantly advertising? |

at the end of each job advertised is this message....
Eligibility note:
It is unlawful to employ a person who does not have permission to live and work in the Philippines. Unless the advert states otherwise, please ensure you have this permission before applying.
Lots of hassle trying to obtain either. |

Hours are broken, pay is low, benefits are "0" and expectations are high.
They will NOT sponsor you for a visa so you have to be either a Filipino or have a 13a visa (non-quota immigrant (married to a Pinay)).
On the good side, if you have resident and work privileges then it isn't too bad for part-time work. The campus out by Bigfoot (behind the airport on Mactan - close to the shrine) is nicer that the one in the city.
If you are looking to apply anyway then they will do the interview downtown at their office:
Clever Learn JY office, 2nd flr. JY building Lahug, Cebu City..
If you are in the city you can also drop off a resume down there.
