I recently was employed by a language school in Madrid and will be moving there first week of January. I am planning on staying for at leats 2 years. I was hoping to get some advice on things I have to do before leaving, banking, health insurance. Thanks for taking the time to read my post

You're being a bit vague there: with your passport you don't need health insurance and opening a bank account is easy - go into any branch and they will tell you exactly what you need.

Apart from that, try to take a laptop with you, a few warm clothes for the chilly winter, and most importantly, as much money as you can muster just in case.
