|

We are visiting Kyoto over Christmas (we live in Chiba) and wonder if anyone knows a good restaurant/bar/pub that serves a traditional christmas dinner? I know I am in Japan and should relish the thought of sushi for christmas... but oh how i crave turkey and cranberry sauce!
Only reason i ask so early it, maybe i have to book?!
Thank you in advance! |

In my experience you can usually count on any of the larger international hotels holding a Christmas dinner/event. It's usually quite pricy but well worth the turkey and the atmosphere. |

YES!!! I was in Kyoto a couple days after Christmas last year and had a great dinner at Tadg's Irish Pub. I think it's a half roast chicken that you get (since turkey is so expensive), but it's good. It comes with all the trimmings as well; mashed potatoes, gravy, veggies, cranberry sauce (I think...), etc. Anyway, it was really good. Very nice atmosphere as well.
