Hi,

I'm looking into teaching in the US Virgin Islands or in Puerto Rico. I will be receiving my MA in English in December, and I would like to make my move in January. I see that elementary/secondary schools start in August. I have also seen some openings at the University of the Virgin Islands which also start in August. Does anyone know if positions ever open up at the beginning of the Spring semester? I know this may be possible at the University level, but I want to make sure I'm aware of all my options. Any advice on when to apply for positions in the USVI or in PR is welcome. Thanks!

...why not try and contact the "current" teachers at the VI Dept of Education? or anyone in human resources,...if they answer the phone
