Hi Cleo

Liked the 'land of the rising Euro' reference. Smile

I doubt that we will ever know the truth - unless we happen to personally meet one of the soldiers that was standing at the hole as he came out and/or we find a cancelled check for $25M to Talabani.

Hey John,

This isn't really new news tho is it? It may be that I have kept track of all the dirt on this administration, but haven't Rummy's previous visits been common knowledge? ...merely not exactly stressed in the mainstream press.

At long last - a feasible, fair and rational way for the next ruler of Iraq to be chosen:

Definitely a "sweeps-week" show.

Has anyone heard anything about this:

"Saudi authorities on Thursday reported that suspected terrorists killed at least five government security agents in a gun battle in Riyadh, the capital. "

It was posted today (Thursday) in a story on Yahoo:

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=540&e=1&u=/ap/20040129/ap_on_re_mi_ea/us_terror_war

Don't know if they meant last Thursday or today, though. I checked the Arab News for last Thursday/Friday - nada.
Regards,
John

To answer my own question (good thing I had so many years of practice talking to myself in the Kingdom).
