Hello everyone, I am probably signing up for a one year contract to teach in a language school and just have a query about potential medical emergencies. I accept that Singapore hospitals, dentists etc are going to be okay/safe....but what about the cost to me as an expat? Should I be insisting on medical insurance/cover in my contract? Any advice on getting accident/medical cover once in Singapore? |

You would be very smart to check out the possibility of having Medical Insurance included in your contract.
If that fails, you must look for some Medical Insurance at your own expense.
PS: Singapore hospitals are very good and that also goes for the doctors in private practice. |
