|
|
I am planning to go to Costa Rica next September. Does anyone have any information about working there? I am especially wondering what type of options are available for working in smaller towns outside of San Jose. I am also curious as to the cost of living, availability of jobs, availability and cost of accomodation and so on.
Thank you so much for all of your help! |

Hope this is not too late.
1. Most jobs are in the central valley (SJ, Heredia, Alajuela)
2. It has gotten more expensive here recently. Modest tastes and a willingness to accept a lower standard of living help - $US 350/month can get you by if you are good with money.
3. Jobs are continuously available. Check out the Tico Times if you can get a copy.
Good luck,

I have been living and working as an English teacher in Costa Rica for more than three years now. If anyone wants to get info about jobs for English teachers in Costa Rica, email me at [email protected] and I will send you all of the latest info that I have.
