I am a native born, native speaker from America, have a B.S. from an American university. I am now considering a Master of Arts (TESOL) program from Thailand. Will a masters degree from a Thai university meet the basic requirements of Middle East MOEs?

if it's not authenticated by the ministry of higher education, you won't be able to teach at KU, GUST or AUK
contact the kuwaiti embassy in bangkok to see if this university is on their 'approved list' |

MOE is cracking down on a lot of degrees now- part time, on line , even degrees taken on site within the middle east, for Kuwaitis also. As 15 years says, you need to go to the MOhE in person and check. Although saying that, it is usually only if you are working in the public sector that recognition becomes a problem. A friend of mine has an MBA from a uni in USA not recognmised by the MOhE but her employer here recognises it and she is HOD..... |
