Hello,

I'm interested in doing a Refresher Course for International Teachers of English at London Met University. As I don't know much about London Met's reputation for its short courses, I was wondering if anyone here could help me out.

Here's the link:
http://www.londonmet.ac.uk/courses/european-and-language-services/ft-efl/north/refresher.cfm

I haven't been able to get through to the uni to find out if this course has been offered in previous years.

Any comments/feedback would be most appreciated.

Thank you!

I don't know what it's like to study there, but I do know they had a long running dispute with the local union branch and tried to derecognise them, and the TUC had to get involved before agreement was finally reached.

I'd be very surprised if this sort of thing didn't impact on the quality of provision, but then it was a year ago so things may have changed.

Here's how the Times HE reported it at the time:

And here in the Guardian:

I'm studying for Early childhood degree from them. Ok, it's not short term, but four years. I do find them very professional.
