I was wondering if anyone could advise me about the best place in Baton Rouge to buy condoms.
This question is just as relevant to an ESL discussion forum as the request for help in genealogy. |

Some ESL-based topics would make a pleasant change.
As for contraception in Louisiana, check out this news item:

All the best.

I also need to know where I can get a decent Martini in Ouagadougou.
And is it true that many would-be-EFLers are truly weird ? |

The Hotel Sofitel Ouagadougou Silmande has two bars that serve "Sophisticated cocktails" and "Exotical cocktails." It's all there on http://www.worldexecutive.com/directory/burkina_faso/ouagadougou/hotels/1325.html
Many would-be EFLers are indeed truly weird. Unfortunately, there are people who are prepared to employ them and unleash them upon unsuspecting students.
It's a funny old world!
All the best.

People are dying of hunger, the rainforests are disappearing, Scotland got thrashed by Wales, and to cap it all the censor choked on the word c*cktail. |

I know Graham, I know..
As a traditional musician one of my favourite tunes is Cock O'the North and there is also a jig called Cock up your Beaver [as in hat]. I'm partial to a drop of Cockburn's port.
Worst of all though, is that I can never quote my surname on this list without it being censored... |

Last year I mentioned the author of Oliver Twist in one of my postings, and the censor bleeped it. Let's see if it's mellowed in old age:
Charles Dickens. I repeat, Charles Dickens. |
