Food should be the least of your considerations unless you've got celiac sprue or some digestive disorder that requires a special diet. Every Gulf country has an incredible variety of food and restaurants, much better than a lot of small towns back in the States. Too many American fast food joints around but when you're hungry, they'll do. The Indian restaurants are the best deal around - a filling meal for less than four dollars. Where can you beat that? And we even have our own local greasy spoon Country Kitchen down in Ras Aboud. A favo spot with the base boys. Pancakes like mom makes.
