WHat is the common salary for EFL jobs with a ministry in Qatar (Ministry of Education, MInistry of Interior, MInistry of Finance, etc.)? HAs anyone taught at these schools? What are they like?

eleven thousand and up for some ministries. The Ministry of Education pays around this amount but this includes your housing allowance. It is not a good deal under any circumstances. Anyway, the Min of Ed is being phased out as the Independent Schools increase. These schools are under the SEC.

The Ministry of Education is closing its doors this June so hundreds of teachers will be out of work.

The Ministry of the Interior mainly teaches CID people but nobody knows anything about this place. They keep putting ads in the paper but never reply to applicants. So who knows what kind of place it really is.

The Min of Labor may be doing some reshuffling now that the MOE is going out of business.
