Hi all
I have seen some job opportunities at the English Modern School Doha. Does anyone have any information regarding this school as I know there is a lot of variation in quality of the international School sector.

This school has had major problems in the past but seems to be settling down as one of the middle of the road schools. Staff don't check out as much as they do at the independent schools. The salaries are not that great but you can tutor part-time. The school doesn't mind. Some ofr my gal pals at schools make 250- 350 QR per hour tutoring. Schools know their salaries are low so they can't really object.
You might find some information by looking at these sites.

Agree with wilberforce. It seems to be a school that is keen to move ahead and has a good leader on the ground - shame about the poor salaries! Why don't these places realise they cannot retain, recruit or develop good staff without fair rewards! Lots of building going on here which should be much better when completed. Nice students too. |
