Am thinking of doing a course this summer in Edinburgh university, and would like some feedback on how good these are, how they are honoured by the employers and institutions worldwide since I have to spend a lot of money on fee, accommodation and air tickets to get there.

Any feedback, positive and negative, shall be very much appreciated.

Thank you

I do believe Scotland has a good reputation for education in general. What's the course, is it CELTA, DELTA or equivelent? Check up with what empoyers are seeking.

A good idea might be to ask The British Council if the qualification is recognised by most employers.

There are some very reputable colleges offering TEFL courses claiming good for overseas, however not good enough for themselves, if you asked the same college or university for a job.

I would also be interested in finding more info because I am planning to do a teacher development course next summer. Scotland sounds really interesting.

Do bear in mind that rent can be expensive in summer, especially during the Edinburgh Festival in August. Nice place to study, though.
