Hmm, our Dave teaching English. An interesting concept. Perhaps we could make Bernard Manning the British Cultural attache as well.......

It would be a disaster of biblical proportions. Very Happy

The Ewan McGregor ads in Japan were bad enough. I think that more rational hiring policies, greater assistance with professional development, and efforts of reform in educational insitutions would do this industry a lot more good than some footballer's publicity stunt.

dduck, he got an OBE didn't he - not a knighthood. Hardly worth much IMO, my great grandfather got an MBE and he did much more for international relations than David Beckham - he fought for the Empire in Afghanistan Cool
