The Istek schools expect their teachers to come to Istanbul on August 1st to receive orientation around Istanbul, etc...they then start work on August 21 in preparation for the new school year. The teachers have to prepare yearly plans, get books etc..The school actually opens in the 2nd week of September.

The usual holidays apply, with teachers being allowed 3 days off at Christmas. There is a two week holiday in February, and the usual religious holidays.

Have any of the readers on this forum worked with ISTEK in the past?

Any comments on the early arrival of the teachers, and the preparation expected?

Come on Richard, you do not expect "ghost" to actually do something in real life, do you ? Do you seriously expect him to get on a plane and take up a real job ?

Having cyberfantasies and asking endless questions is much easier.

Wrong, and wrong again.

Flight tickets have been bought, and a Turkish language course registered and paid for.

So you guys get a kick out of persecuting innocent TEFLERS on the net....pretty sad....

And no one likes people who make up things about others which are untrue and unsubstantiated. You could get into trouble for that.
