I have tried unsuccessfully to look for info on the internet. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to do an MA in TESOL / TEFEL in 12 or 18 months at any Aus or NZ university? Thanks.

The University of Queensland offers an 18 months MA in Applied Linguistics. It used to be a TESOL Masters but they recently changed it. Pretty much the same content area though.

I'm almost through it and except for the pain of studying while working full-time I'm finding it quite interesting.

I'm doing an MA in Applied Linguistics (TESOL) with Macquarie Uni in Sydney. Studying by distance. There are 8 units to complete, and my plan is to complete it in two years, by doing two units a semester. I've found it very interesting, but exhausting given I'm also teaching 18 hours a week.
